White Shanty offers a 3 year warranty from the date of receipt on all handles, pulls, track and roller kits and accessories. This warranty includes manufacturer defects and finishing.
Industry Best Wood Barn Door Warranty
White Shanty warranties all barn door finishes including paints and stains provided that the door was properly inspected upon receipt for a period of 5 years. Doors must be properly maintained and installed in accordance with the installation instructions. Any doors not installed properly or installed outside are not covered under this warranty.
White Shanty uses all real wood and because of this we specifically use engineered wood stiles and rails to try and prevent any issues. White Shanty will warranty any warping or movement for up to 90 days as long as the door was assembled and finished by our factory. All doors that were not finished and assembled by White Shanty are not covered under this warranty. Additionally wood may vary with knots and other imperfections that exist which you will see in our stained products.
Our Reclaimed Wood products are made from authentic, naturally weathered wood. Because no two pieces are the same, there may be color variation from the pictured product. Also small defects in the wood will be visible due to the fact this is true reclaimed wood and looks as such.
In-Stock DIY Barn Door Kits Warranty
White Shanty will warranty all In-Stock DIY Barn Door Kits for manufacturing defects for 30 days from the date of shipment. Warranty is void if product has been assembled or finished. In-Stock DIY Barn Door Kits are returnable for up to 30 days from the date of shipment. Customer is responsible for a 15% restocking fee of total order value. Customer is responsible for return freight charges.
Industry Best Metal Barn Door Warranty
White Shanty will warrant all metal for workmanship and defective parts for a period of five years from the date of delivery. We may require you to send us the old part back or provide pictures of the part at our discretion to enact the warranty. Additionally, we will warrant the fabrication of any metal parts for the lifetime of the door – this includes the welds on all parts from breaking or “popping.” However, the warranty shall only apply in cases of reasonable wear and tear, and shall not apply to damage suffered from unintended use of the door, vandalism, or “Acts of God”, such as natural disasters. Furthermore, the warranty will be voided if the door is not installed in accordance with our instructions or if the door has been abused or not properly maintained by the customer. If the door is properly installed and maintained in the event of an issue White Shanty will pay the cost of shipping you replacement parts.
